Solicitud del Gerente de la Compañía Hulera Industrial Mexicana, S.A. al Secretario de Economía Nacional, la cual es tramitada por el subsecretario ingeniero Enrique Ortiz y el Rector de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Manuel Gómez Morín el cual le transcribe dicha solicitud al Director de la Facultad de Ciencias e Industrias Químicas, Rafael Illescas F. En donde piden se investigue y tomen medidas para evitar una competencia ruinosa por parte de la Facultad en cuanto a la venta de productos de hule a menor costo, perjudicando de esta manera a dicha industria.
